During the COVID 19 pandemic, time management has become a struggle for everyone. Whether you are at home or school everyone needs a little help getting more tasks done. Finding a way to better manage your time will not only help you complete your goals but it will also allow you to feel less stressed and have more free time.
Doing school and homework at home can be challenging. There are many distractions around you and you might find yourself pulling out your phone or leaving the room to go talk with your family. Just the simple act of putting your phone in another room or cleaning off your desk before school can make a big difference.
When studying or doing homework time management is often a struggle we all face. We often find ourselves doing too much at a time or procrastinating and not pacing ourselves on our work. Improving your time management skills is a major advantage. One way to improve this skill is to set a timer for yourself while doing homework and studying. According to oxfordlearning.com, “Set an alarm for every 20-30 minutes and have your child take a short 5-10 minute break. Shorter study breaks will give your child just enough time to breathe, stretch and refocus before he or she gets back to the homework.”
