It’s me! Natalie Kim!
I love Asian foods and boba. In my free time, I like to dance and read. I am from Korea but have lived in China for six years. My parents and friends motivate me to work harder. One thing I love to share with others is that I can speak three languages, English, Mandarin, and Spanish.
My favorite memory was when I went on a field trip to Knott’s Berry Farm with my friends. I stepped into the park, and colorful signs blinded me. To my left was the Knott’s Berry Farm Ghost town, and to my right was Snoopy land. I was so filled with happiness and excitement that we immediately started running around. My friends grabbed my hand and “forced” me to stand in line for Silver Bullet. I could constantly hear the screams of surprise surrounding me. As we began climbing the steps higher and higher, I became more scared and was suddenly zapped with immense regret. My friends’ smiles faltered as we climbed higher and higher. I could feel the nervous atmosphere. When we were strapped in, I insisted on sitting in the middle. As the rollercoaster began to move, my heart fluttered at 100 miles per hour. With a jerk, we flew downwards, then back up. I couldn’t see because my hair flew around me. Finally, after many unexpected loops and turns, the rollercoaster slowed to a stop. I smiled to myself. I did it! I survived that rollercoaster. We rode a couple more rides and finished with a twisty water ride. Drenched in water, we went to the various candy stores and “raided” the store. I was very content as we rode back to school.
