My name is Brody Reeds, and I have a dog, a sister, mom, dad, and grandpa. I love playing sports while getting some time to game.
My favorite memory was about 3 or 4 years ago. I was in Sacramento at my cousin’s house. One thing that me and my cousin’s always did was play NBA 2k until 3 am. We always had a lot of fun, but this time was different. Me and my eldest cousin had this thing that we did where we would create our own players in the game, and they would be replicas of us. Now, me being as young as I was I wanted to practically make a god, so I maxed out all of his stats, so he really wouldn’t miss a shot. My cousin would do the same thing so that I could have some competition. We would put our players on a team that we created, and we would simulate the season up until the NBA Finals. Our teams would go head to head, and it would always be a good game. This game, though, was different. It was game 7, win or go home, there were 3 seconds left. I had just hit a three to go up by 2. My cousin then thought it would be a good idea to change the setting of the game where his character LITERALLY wouldn’t miss a shot. 3…2…1…buzzer, he hits a three to win the game, and I go scream in the next room. Good times.
