Smoking is never going to be recommended but if you do decide to smoke, think of what will happen to your lungs and how you might die early.

If you decide to smoke, think of everything and everyone that it will affect. From 2019-2022 there have been 1.3 billion people recorded that smoke. So 80% of the population smokes. I found that tobacco kills 7 million people every year. 6 million of those people are smokers and 1 million of them are just being exposed to people smoking, there are about 1,300 smoking-related deaths per day.

People all around the world smoke. About 1.3 billion smokers around the world. And about 1 million people die because people around them smoke. Smoking has been shown that it causes about 80% of lung cancers and about 20% of cancer patients. “Smoking isn’t fun. You don’t control it, it controls you!”-mother(victim)

Tobacco factories are now targeting teens. How people have figured this out is because they are making flavors like fruit, mint, and different candy flavors. If a woman smokes when pregnant it could affect the baby. Every year 400,000 babies are exposed to toxins from smoking before birth. “Don’t smoke, it’s stupid. Once you start, it controls your life. It’s a waste of money. It will never make you look cool, in fact, it makes you look dumb.“- Father (victim)

In the end, smoking can cause disease, death, random emotions, and blood clots, and it damages almost every organ in the human body. When smoking there are 2 different kinds of poisons, carbon dioxide, and tar. Tar is a sticky substance that coats the lungs and makes it difficult for you to breathe. There are many smokers that would want to quit but can’t so don’t be someone that wants to seem cool so you start. Many people would love to stop smoking. It’s very difficult to stop, so never start. There are things to help people who smoke quit like patches, other less effective drugs, and more.
